A very competitive advantage in today’s fast changing world, yet very significantly lacking among a vast majority of our professional force is Creativity and the ability to think, act, and produce creatively. This is more crucial for markets that customers can easily switch to competitors when they are not satisfied and engaged enough with the current supplier, such as TV and media. What is interesting is that Creativity is not a pure gift, as some might think so. It is a talent that can be developed, learned, practiced, and inspired. Therefore, I have developed and offered courses on the topic of Creativity, starting with the AUIS alumni College.
I have also founded Creativity@AUIS: a dream to ignite, promote, and teach creativity; creativity not only as a life skill, but as a way of life. The Facebook group of Creativity@AUIS continues to grow in numbers, posts, and conversations, especially with the recent offering of the Creative Coding and Computing (CSC201) course at AUIS.
