I was invited to oversee and participate in the first ever event of One Hour of Code for Kids in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The event took place on Saturday, August 5, 2017 in the city of Sulaimani. I was very much moved and excited to see over 60 kids, aged between 6 and 16, to participate in such an event. I was honored to give the opening speech and deliver the certificates at the end of the event for the participating children.
The event was organized by Tavi Kids and Pine House.
